General aim: Contribution to strengthening and capacity building of women for political articulation of gender inequality, building gender solidarity through networking of women at local and European levels.

Specific aims: Increasing the involvement of women in identification and articulation of public policy issues they face in the countries involved; Creating preconditions for political articulation of gender inequality through the creation of sustainable and quality network of women.

Women, Employment and Social Policy

Seminar “Women, employment and social policy” in Postojna, Slovenia (February 25tth to February 28th 2016) represents the third WONET activity. It opened on Thursday, after 30 participants arrived to Postojna from Italy (Trieste, Dolina), Croatia (Hvar, Zagreb, Krapina), Serbia (Belgrade) and Slovenia – 12 participants from different towns, among whom two long term Slovenian residents, one Russian and one Spanish. This certainly contributed to the international WONET exchange. Local project partner LAS Društvo za razvoj hosted the seminar in Hostel Proteus and moderation was provided by City Municipality Savski venac from Belgrade, SVETLOST organization from Sabac and CESI organization from Zagreb.
